He also portrayed George Quaintain in the ITV period drama Jericho, Ben in the cyber-thriller Kiss Me First and Ralph Roberts in the BBC iPlayer comedy Ladhood. His most recent main role was in the Channel 5 four-part drama series The Teacher. One of Samuel's most notable film appearances was in the 2019 hip-hop-inspired comedy film Boyz in the Wood. He also portrayed an autistic man in the 2019 comedy The Last Right.
