In 2000, Wesley launched his independent release with the title ‘The Leprechaun’. It included the all-time hit single titled ‘I Can Do Dat’. The album turned out to be a massive hit for the struggling rapper. Over 200,000 copies of this musical collection were sold. In 2002, Flip rolled out his 2nd studio album under the caption ‘Underground Legend’. It entered the US Billboard 200 and secured the 12th spot. More than 70,000 copies of the album were sold out just within the first week. It received RIAA’s Platinum certification in Dec 2002. More than a million copies of the album were shipped.
In 2004, Flip rolled out his 3rd studio collection of songs with caption ‘U Gotta Feel Me’. It was ranked 8th on the Hot Hip Hop songs chart.
