Xscape
Kandi was a part of a musical group ‘Precise’ before joining her all-time favorite R&B all-women group ‘Xscape’. This is a vocal quartet from Georgia (Atlanta). It was created back in 1992 and consisted of four female vocalists. Names of the group members were LaTocha Scott, Kandi Burruss, Tamika Scott, and Tameka Tiny Cottle. Initially, Wynn Coggins was also the member but she left out the group.
Xscape launched their first studio album ‘Hummin’ Comin’ at ‘Cha’ on Oct 12, 1993. It turned out to be a successful release in the United States. The album reached the 7th spot on the US Billboard 200. The same music collection made its way to number 3 on the R&B Albums chart. All four girls were pretty happy to see a wonderful commercial success of their debut studio album.
