Where he Lives
The American star has quite an impressive collection of homes across the US but he mostly roosted in his Kansas home for his career’s convenience before he transferred to the Philadelphia Phillies.
Career
After high school, Mathew was already being eyed by recruiters and he was offered a spot on the team instantly by the Minn Twins for the 2001 MLB. He however chose not to accept the offer and instead opted to join the LSU college team. He instantly became a vital player for the LSU Tigers despite being a newbie in college baseball. Vargas proved his worth with a matching win lose record and an excellent run value in more than a dozen games. The budding player was given quite considerable playtime for a freshman. While batting in his freshman year, Mathew pulled an impressive hit that saw the Tigers emerging as victors in their game against Mercer.
After only two seasons with the LSU Tigers, Vargas opted out of the team and went to Cypress College where he drafted from a Jnr Institute. He quickly earned good stats at SCJ College and earned the title of the junior category Player of the year. Shortly afterwards however, his winning streak waned, he experienced a speed decline from an arm mishap. The star also made quite some unreasonable remuneration claims which saw him remaining un-recruited for the 2004 season.
The sluggish activity at Cypress led to Mathew’s eventual move to CSU where he joined the 49ers. His playing technique improved quickly ad he regained his stats shortly afterwards. The results were amazing, and Vargas was again back on track for a full blown pitching career with an impressive doubles and home run record for his first season play.
In 2004, Vargas left the LBS team for the Fl Marlins to participate in the MLB. His recruiting agent Cosaro was a former co-player famous pitcher, J Weaver. He quickly racked up impressive stats in the 04season and earned himself the third ranked prospect for the NY League. He also earned himself the pitcher of the month title the same season, closing off with impressive stats including a 2.37 ERA. The 2005 season started quite well for Jason and all the game watch dogs had high hopes for him. He didn’t disappoint his fans even though he didn’t stay long in the junior league. He was quickly upgraded to Jupiter team where he racked more impressive stats. That same year, he took the lead for the Junior League team.
After observing Vargas in the junior league for a while, the marlins gave him a slot in the senior pitch squad alongside seasoned veterans like Olsen. His ML debut roosted on 14/07/05 after he had secured a spot on the team replacing an injured major league team member. In the major league, Vargas was an instant star and by the time his replacement had recuperated, he was already an integral member of the team and was kept on. The following season, Jason was made a fixture in the main rotation although the competition began to prove too stiff for the budding player.
He was eventually benched but the player once again made an impressive recovery which saw him back in the ML by the middle of the year. The unlucky streak was unfortunately not over however because soon after his return to the team, he permitted thirteen and 4 home runs. He was quickly shipped back to the junior team for the rest of the season although his play still remained lousy.
In late 2006, Vargas was finally shipped out of the Marlins. The next season saw him performing on a lowly average with the TA NO Zephyrs. He later replaced an injured Alou in the rotation slots and went on to make several outings that secured a few wins for his team. Soon afterwards, Jason sat out the whole 08 season due to several operations resulting from arm injuries. Later that year, he was traded to the Mariners where his status suffered another blow as he was once again shipped off to the TAT Rainiers.
In 2010, the fading star made a surprise come back with a raring performance with the Marines. He secured a 6–2 mark with over 91.1 innings. The team later made a five million deal with him for the 2012 season and he went on to grab the AL best in July the same year. In 2013, Jason scored a cool 32 mil deal with the Royals in Ks. He however suffered an arm injury after an impressive 3 year stint and hence went through more serious operations to rectify the damage.
He came back to the field in 2017 after a complete recovery although with less time on the field. He went on to put up an impressive performance throughout the season and saw the Kansas team scooping several trophies. Early in 2018, Vargas went back to play for his old team, Mets in a deal that saw him pocketing over 20 million. He however suffered another arm injury shortly after signing which saw him missing most of the season. Following some violence charges involving a reporter, Vargas eventually left the team for the Phillies in mid-2019.
Personal Life
Despite his vied success in baseball, Vargas has always been quite traditional when it comes to his dating life. After dating a string of girls on-off, the pitcher tied the knot with his high school girlfriend Shelly. He is estimated to be worth an impressive 12 million dollars most of which comes from his signed deals in the leagues with a yearly income of over 5 million.
