Barbara Palvin is originated from Budapest, Hungary. She was born on 8th October, 1993. Her current residence is in Brooklyn, New York. She was signed for the first modeling assignment at the age of 13. She is 5 feet and 9 inches tall. She used to play soccer before starting her modeling career. She is passionate in singing as well.
She has a sibling named Anita Palvin. Barbara is the youngest. Her childhood days were spent in Budapest. There is not much information about her parents.
Modeling
At her teen age, one day she was on the street of Budapest with her mother. There she was offered a modeling job by a talent scout. She refused at first. But as she is a big fan of Kate Moss, the famous 90’s supermodel and so finally agreed to take the job to follow her idol’s footstep. At first, she started her journey from Asia. First time, she posed for the Spur Magazine in 2006.
She worked with several international fashion magazines’ covers such as Elle, Marie Claire, L'Officiel, Glamour Hungary, Vogue, Jealous, Allure and Harper's Bazaar. The magazines were published in Asia, Europe, USA and South America.
She was in many ad campaigns for brands like H&M, Armani Exchange, Pull & Bear and Victoria's Secret. She bagged a big project in 2012. She was chosen as the brand ambassador L’Oreal Paris, a big turning point in her career.
She started as a runaway model in 2010. Her first work was in Milan Fashion Week with Prada. After that she worked with Giles Deacon, Miu Miu, Nina Ricci, Louis Vuitton, Emanuel Ungaro, Christopher Kane, Jeremy Scott, Etro, Vivienne Westwood, Chanel and Julien MacDonald. "Acqua di Gioia" a famous perfume of Armani was presented by her.
She also appeared for Chaos and Express. She represented the Amazon Fashion. In 2016, she declared as the ‘Rookie of the Year’ in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazine. She walked in the fashion show of Victoria’s Secret in 2012.
She has chosen as the ‘Victoria's Secret Angel’ in 2019. No other Hungarian model has ever got the chance before that. She was in ‘Maxim Hot 100’ in 2016. Her ranking was 4th. Her work is managed by three agencies; IMG Models, Uno Models and Icon Model Management.
Though she started at a very young age, but proved her talent and gain experiences with hard work over the years. She is immensely popular due to her photogenic look.

She acted in the movie named Hercules. It was released in 2014. She played the role Antimache, a mythological queen.

Currently Palvin is dating with Dylan Sprouse. He is an American actor. They stay in Brooklyn, together. She was in a relationship with singer Julian Perretta before that.
